Rukia in Earth Tones

I love earth tones. I mean seriously, 90% of what I wear is earth tones. I just kinda picked the colour by accident and the pic started colouring itself after that. Special thanks to CaptainJane @ DA for getting me to draw Rukia.



These are the other versions of her that I have been calling "Cheshire Rukia." I guess the new preview for Alice in Wonderland is inspiring that.

Ok so on the news a week ago they were talking about this "Big Pot Bust" in my town. Which I chuckled at b/c I have a juvenile sense of humor which then lead me create this.

I looked over 14-Bis's tutorial on shadows and it was quite informative. I didn't know the actual names of the different types but being able to id them I will be able to pay more attention to the differing types of shadows I can employ. I tried to do a little bit of it in this pic here. I still need a little work.
